CROSSING the RED SEA
(Deliverance)
When the Hebrew people were forced into Egyptian slavery,
God delivered them with a mighty hand and the blood of the Passover Lamb.
The Israelites passed through the Red Sea as on dry land, and God fed them in the wilderness with bread from heaven. (Exodus 14; Isaiah 49:9)
"When Israel came out of Egypt...the sea looked and fled (Psalm 114:1.3)."
"Let the redeemed tell their story--those he redeemed from the hand of the foe...
for he satisfies the thirsty, and fills the hungry with good things (Psalm 107:2,9)."
